At the annual NERFU Rugby tournament hosted by Newport RFC at the scenic
Meeting and beating Boston RFC and Mystic RFC on Saturday, the Hounds ended up playing
It was not a one sided affair however the scoreline favored the Wolfhounds by a long shot 45-5.
The Division III side which is headed to San Diego shortly did not fare very well score unknown, however it was a good run for them prior to the big game on the 10th of June.
As the week develops the full story from South Carolina will be told and
hopefully some pictures.
Next stop the NERFU annual Newport Tournament.
Jason Lett, former Worcester and now Wolfhounds player will play with the US Falcons in the the second leg of the NA4’s competition.
This is a precursor to the Eagles World Cup selection process and we think Jason is well capable of being a member of the squad.
We have had a former member play with the Eagles, Dave Williams. Hopefully Jason can join him and do us all proud.
Wolfhounds are going to participate in the annual Newport Tournament chasing honors as usual.

The squad which has performed well under the direction of Carl Morris and Burke Doherty are fit and strong and looking forward to the challenge which may lead them to a return visit to San Diego CA in a couple of weeks.
