Testimonials
"The camp was most beneficial in seeing high performance coach's model
best practices. The technical aspects are state of the art and the camp
covers every component of individual and team play. I'd recommend it to
any level coach interested in developing his or her knowledge and
understanding of the game."
Salty
I have been to many coaching courses over the years and I found The UQ
camp to be the most useful one I have ever attended. Having coaches
available that are actively involved in professional Rugby in
was tremendous. Being able to ask detailed questions and to discuss
tactical and technical points was also great and really helped me. I
whole heartedly recommend the camp to any coach who wants to improve his
abilities."
Mike Purcell, Former USA Eagles player and World 15 player
"I found the coaching seminar not just generally informative but
technically specific, up to date and very relevant to the modern game at
our level. Many of the technical aspects of the seminar were backed up
with sound rationales based upon up to date scientific data. I also
found the examples used in the video clips and photos relevant. They
were current clips taken from the UQ Rugby Academy team. Far more
relevant than watching clips of international games where the game is
very different due to the professionalism of the athletes and the
different refereeing emphasizes. I would recommend any coach who is
curious about the deeper technical detail of how and what to coach to
attend the workshop. I believe this workshop is an excellent
accompaniment to the current USA Rugby Coach Development courses."
